2. In The Beginning imdb.com

Londo: He is an old Centauri Emperor telling Centauri kids the whole story. They are in the royal palace in the center of destroyed Centauri Prime. Londo vaguely admits his fault for the devastation.
As an Ambassador to Earth, he warns Humans not to interfere with Minbari, but they don't listen, the result is Earth-Minbari war.

Later, he denies arms shipment to desperate Earth to avoid Minbari retribution.
Then he orders the attack on Earth-Minbari negotiations site because of the Narn involvement. So, this chance to stop Earth-Minbari war earlier is lost.
Having told the story, Londo says he wants to see unspecified prisoners and watches the Sheridan and Delenn tape. This suggests this story belongs to alternative future envisioned by Sheridan in War Without End 2 and prevented from happening in Z'Ha'Dum.
G'Kar: Sells Centauri arms to Earth. He is not concerned with Minbari reaction. Then he helps Earth to contact Minbari and goes to negotiations together with Sheridan.
Sheridan: He is an Earth Officer. Rejects the offer to participate in Minbari first contact mission because he believes it is likely to be a trouble. In fact, this mission will be a disaster! Participates in the Earth-Minbari war.
When his ship is damaged, Sheridan uses it as a bait to destroy the Minabari cruiser - the only Earth victory during the war.
Participates in failed Earth-Minbari negotiations together with Franklin and G'Kar. Taken prisoner by Minbari, released by Delenn because he knows the parole told by a dying Minbari peacemaker.
Franklin: Earth doctor who has some info on Minbari biology. He is jailed for refusal provide this info for bioweapons research. Set free to participate in Earth-Minbari negotiations.
Susan Ivanova: Sister of Earth officer who leaves for Earth-Minbari war and gets killed.
Delenn: She just enters the Grey Council. Advocates an expedition to Z'ha'dum to find out whether Shadows have returned and The Prophecy is being fulfilled.
This mission is intercepted by Earth ships and miscommunication results in unprovoked Earth attack. Delenn's mentor Dukhat is killed and she votes for jihad against humans.
By Kosh's advise, Delenn initiates negotiation mission with Earth Force. It fails, but she saves Sheridan.
As a last resort, Delenn orders some Human to be captured for investigation. That happens to be Sinclair who is found to have Minbari soul - that of Valen. Minbari surrender and the war is stopped - with actual reason kept completely secret.
Kosh: Secret Vorlon handler for Minbari. First works with Dukhat then, after his death, with Delenn. Both trust him completely. Suggests that Humans are to be spared because they are key to fight the Shadows. Gives no advise how concretely to stop the Earth-Minbari war.

3. Thirdspace imdb.com

Sheridan: Investigates huge alien artifact which approaches B5 shortly after the Shadow war. Hires independent Earth Archeologist Team for this purpose. Delenn: Instantly realizes Sheridan wants to be the first to take advantage of the artifact - if possible.
Ivanova: Participates in anti-raider operation - as bait. Has nightmare connection with artifact: sees strange landscape and meets Vir there. Vir apparently enjoys the situation, but she is killed by some monster. Awakens in horror and instantly warns Sheridan there is a problem with this artifact. She is out of artifact's control.
Vir: For him, dream contact with the artifact is a very pleasant sexual experience, he is actually attracted by it. Sees Ivanova in this dream as well. Later, he is among affected by artifact-induced violence outbreak on B5.
Lyta: She is pretty much deranged all the time. When Sheridan and Delenn contact her, her Vorlon part tells the artifact story. This appears to be a gate to some 3rd space (after normal and hyperspace) discovered by Vorlons. Unfortunately, this space is populated by extremely dangerous aliens, so this discovery was one of tragic Vorlon mistakes. She contacts Sheridan by Vorlon beams and teaches him how to destroy the artifact.
Archeologist: Generic Sci-Fi enthusiastic scientist. Dreams about revolutionary discovery and Nobel prize, but falls under the artifact influence and switches it on with potentially disastrous consequences
